The WorldWalkers

The WorldWalk Team is formed by the Ivanics brothers. They are the WorldWalkers, they are the ones walking around the Earth. Ferenc and István are experienced hikers, and also experienced extreme hikers.

Ferenc cycled around Europe with a friend, but without having any money. A couple of years ago István repeated his brother's performance, he traveled around Europe alone riding (and pushing) a moped, and also without money. They have walking experiences as well: Ferenc took a walking tour in the wild forests of Monte Negro's mountains, István crossed Monte Negro and Serbia from the Mediterranean Sea to their home in Palić.

Biking tour around Europe: During the summer of 1996 with 300 German marks (appr. 150 EUR or US$150) in his pocket he biked around Europe with a friend: from Hungary through Austria, Germany, France to Paris. 4800 km (3000 miles) in two months.

Walking tour in the mountains of Monte Negro: In the early spring of 1998 with two friends, but without any money or maps. This was the most dangerous adventure of his life with tears, blood and sweat. The mountains looked like a scenery from a wild west movie, and it was at least that exciting, too.

Moped tour around Europe: In the summer of 2005 he traveled around Europe alone with an old moped (49 ccm): Hungary, Austria, Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium, France and Italy. 7000 km (4375 miles) in two months. He became an expert on how to walk with a dead motorbike.

Walking tour from the Mediterranean Sea to Palić: At the end of the summer of 2006 he walked home to Palić from the Mediterranean Sea where he spent his holidays with his friends. This was an experiment, a test for the WorldWalk Peacetour.
