Another visit to Bar Banyan, Johor Bahru.

Visited the Bar Banyan (N1.46569 E103.74381) after sometime...you can refer my previous visit here. The Bar is located along Jalan Abdul Samad of Johor Bahru.

This time the Bar surprised us with the Totally new Look! It expended and renovated with Nice Decoration! At first, the dining area became much more comfort and spacious. But I'm yet to taste the food, will do it soon. :)

You can have your dinner here and some beer after the meal in the Beautiful Bar.

Once we stepped in to the Bar area, the attractive decoration appeared just in front of us! The area is Cool and Relax...

Soft music was playing to provide relax environment...it's one of the enjoyment with beer after a hectic day...

The Pool table area is wide and comfort enough. Wanna have a game? :)

At the second session (which is extended area), it's a low sitting area. Where you can rest yourself on the comfortable sofa with low lighting.

Beside the 'Bird Cage', there were also some other special & unique lighting in the Bar...

We appreciated the Owner - Mr Fann who put in his effort to create such a Beautiful & Relax area within Johor Bahru. Another good reason for us to visit this Bar is...the area won't be over crowded and noisy! Well, at least after many times in our visit. And I called Bar Banyan is One of the Beautiful Bar in JB.

The Bar serve beer, liquor and wine. They have a special wine room for customers who want to keep their wine in the Bar. Beside the nice environment, the staffs are friendly too!
Visit it and have a mug or two if you happen in the area. :)

This is one of the Cool hangout place in Johor Bahru area and also one of my Favorite Bar!

Wall Street On FIRE! @ Wall Street Restaurant & Bar

This party event was held on Nov 2010 at Wall Street Restaurant and Bar. This was also my first time witness the Bar Counter On Fire!

Before the party begin...everything was normal at the bar

I was there quite early that night, and I saw all the preparation of the party. The crowd was ok that time...around 8pm.

The Bartenders were busy preparing the Cocktail...

Mr Arab was preparing the performance of the night...

I'm really attracted by this big bowl of Ice with Full of cocktail test tubes! It was colourful!!

After all the preparation, the customers getting more and more...everyone was anxiously waiting for the Party! Once the clock hit 10pm, the party began! Wall Street On FIRE!

At First, Vincent lighted up one side of the Volcano! The other side was help by the other bartender...

Arab was controlling the Fire which burn through the Bar Counter...!

The Bar was burn up less than 3 second! That time, we Only see Fire on the Bar Counter and Arab & Vincent trying to play some fire tricks on the background!

After the first show, Vincent started the fireworks on THAT bowl of Cocktail! The atmosphere was brought to the highest at that moment! Everyone was excited and voices of congratulation - "Yeah" at every corner!

It was BEAUTIFUL!!

Once the fire over, the test tubes were given to all the customers in the bar F.O.C. Well, you can't drink it too fast, because they were Strong & Dangerous! Haha!

Even the fireworks was over from the bar counter, but the customers continue to light up the rest and play with it! WOW! That was really NICE! Everyone Like it very much!

The Bar was FULL of smoke just like we were all at Cameron Highlands! Haha!

Once the ventilation system started, the smoke was gone in second!


That night was actually A Farewell party for the Shanghai Famous Bartender - Mr Vincent Yang. He went back to Shanghai on the next day and I believe MANY women MISS him very much! Haha! Because he made the Perfect Cocktail for us and we miss him too!

Geographer Cafe at Jonker Street of Malacca

Geographer Cafe (N2 11.806 E102 14.782) is located at the intersection of Jonker Street (Jalan Hang Jebat) and Jalan Hang Lekir, Malacca. This Cafe was established since year 1999, operated in the Pre-War Colonial Building, and today it become one of the attraction along the Jonker Street, Malacca.

I was attracted by the cafe's decorations many years ago, and listed No.1 in my Most Favorite Cafe list. It's a Must visit place for me when I'm around Malacca.

The Cafe can be very pack & crowded during weekend, so we prefer to visit the cafe during weekday. There was a Solo performance while we were there, and he was excellent that evening! I took the chance to snap around the cafe and I'm really impressed with the antiques displays around and the cozy ambience.

After explored the first building, I continued to walked to the next building. The second building is more like a dining area instead of drinking place.

I couldn't step up the first floor in the second building that evening, because it said : "This session is close!". So I took the photo of the first floor from below...

It is a different concept compare with the first building, it's more quiet than the first building.

We had a jug of Tiger Draught Beer (MYR36.00) and enjoyed the night with the beautiful voice of Mr Burn from Geographer Cafe. Most of the customers there were foreigners and tourists from everywhere in the World. Beside Cozy and Comfortable, it was also A Friendly environment! That's the reason I like the cafe so much! Haha! They are many pubs and bistros around the area especially Jalan Hang Lekir, but we just prefer Geographer!

They do serving foods and we will plan to have our dinner here one day!

Wall Street The Restaurant & Bar at Taman Austin Perdana, Johor Bahru

Wall Street The Restaurant & Bar (N1 32.948 E103 47.165) is located at Jalan Austin Perdana 3/10, Taman Austin Perdana - Johor Bahru. This is the only Cocktail Bar at Johor Bahru for the moment.

The Colourful LED lighting decoration which made the place special and nice, probably the Only one at Johor Bahru too! At least I'm attracted! :)

All the tables are light up with the Blue LED Lighting and the Bar Counter is decorated with the combination of Blue & Red LED.

The owner of the Bar is accept every customers feedback, please do speak out your comments and you might be the lucky one to enjoy the Free drinks on the house! There is the poster of www.malfreemaps.com which is featured by the Bar hanging on the wall side-by-side with the screen.
Beside the indoor area, there's another outdoor session which is A Garden setting, many customers like this area, which is always full! :)

Another Special of this Bar is, all the prices of the drinks are fluctuate like the Stock Market (operated by application software), where the name "Wall Street" came into the picture. There will be the max. and min. price and you can monitor it from most of the LCD screen in the Bar.

Once you look at the screen, follow by Select your drinks...:)

Others than Brandy, Whiskey and Cocktail, they are also serve Beer, coffee and tea. I tasted the House Coffee which was very nice! We were invited by the Boss - Mr Freddy Tay for the soft opening, and he offered some Cocktails to us! Great! (But I'm not good in tasting the Cocktail...)

After tasted all the cocktail, I still went back to my favorite...Beer. :)

The Bar also provided Free internet service through Wi-Fi. It was pretty Fast! Try out yourself...
