I’ve returned from my South African holiday and had a lovely long weekend lazing about and doing nothing. In retrospect, I should have perhaps done some blogging rather than spending my time playing Zuma and surfing the internet endlessly but you know how it goes (I am sure I am not the only internet addict here).
I have returned to work and it is very hectic – I have a deadline for tomorrow morning and unfortunately, someone forgot to do something while I was away and that makes the next day extremely busy for me. I’m not complaining – this is honestly the best place I have ever worked and we are a great team here in the office. Sometimes I would like to find something a bit more challenging but I find I am treated a million times better here than I was by companies in South Africa.
Anyway, the purpose of this post is threefold. First, I’d like to apologise because it seems that it may be the weekend before I start posting about my trip to South Africa. I am also very slow on catching up on comments so please bear with me – I really do need to limit the amount of time I spend on the internet right now.
Second, I’d like to thank my blogging friend Roz from Life in Australia for giving me a “Let’s Be Friends” award.

Thank you Roz for the lovely things you said about my blogs. I’m meant to pass the award on, but you know how bad I am at breaking chains!
Thirdly, the lovely JaPRA has moved her blog to her own domain so make sure you visit her there. She has been spreading silly rumours about how sweet I am but I thought I’d share something one of my oldest and bestest friends Jean said about me today (in response to me saying I had no money to go see Faith No More at Donnington):
And this from the girl who flew all the way to London to see the Pixies perform live and then phoned me from the concert to make me jealous :o)
See? A friend wouldn’t do something nasty like that so I can’t be sweet!
